Our team of dedicated professionals collaborates to deliver superior solutions that meet our clients' unique needs. + Location: Avon Lake, (on-site) + Hours: M-F, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm The Pressweld Operator operates pressweld machinery to join copper components according to specifications. The role ensures that welds are precise and meet quality standards. The operator is responsible for maintaining equipment, ensuring safety compliance, and optimizing production efficiency. Key Responsibilities + Set up and operate pressweld machines based on production requirements + Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and welding instructions to ensure accurate and safe welding practices. + Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment. + Inspect parts before and after welding for quality assurance. + Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow. + Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used. + Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations. + Assist with training new operators as needed. + Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications + Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. + Mechanically inclined with the ability to solve problems and think analytically. + Read and comprehend simple verbal and written instructions, and can work in a team environment. + Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment. + Understanding of and ability to comply with OSHA and environmental regulations. Work Environment + Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and temperature variations. + Walking or standing on the Plant floor. + Frequently required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without help. + + Education and Experience + High school diploma, GED, or equivalent + Completion of on-the-job training may be substituted for educational requirements. + One to three years of manufacturing-related experience.
