    Description

    This individual will work closely with the Forecasting, Planning and Analysis, Program Finance, and Accounting teams throughout the summer. The internship will focus on a wide variety of finance related tasks. This position will include a mix of job shadowing all functions within Finance, along with independent projects and tasks.

    Essential Functions:

    + Engage with FP&A team throughout all aspects of reporting, from forecasting and planning, to gap performance analysis (Sales, Cash, Orders, etc)

    + Shadow analysts in the completion of monthly Program EACs from start to finish

    + Assist in completion of Account Reconciliations and journal entry preparation as requested

    + Engage with members of Accounting and Program Finance throughout Month End close to gain a basic understanding.

    + Contribute to Month End reporting requirements as needed.

    + Assist in special projects as they are identified

    Position Requirements

    + Sophomore or Junior in college with a focus in Business, Finance or Accounting

    Preferred Additional Skills:

    + Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    + Intermediate Excel skills

    + Team player; strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

    + Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects, address issues, and work towards meeting competing deadlines

    + Ability to work with all levels of management

    + Analytical, and detail oriented; must be flexible and able to work with diverse groups
