    THE POSITION: ACCOUNTANT

    + Assist with Monthly and Year-end accounting close, including preparation of financial statements.

    + Prepare weekly and monthly journal entries, including prepaids and accruals.

    + Maintain accurate and organized audit trail.

    + Sales posting with reconciliation of dining, bar, delivery, events and catering transactions

    + Daily payments reconciliation by reviewing cash, accounts receivable and other account activity.

    + Maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.

    + Review and audit coding accuracy of A/P invoices.

    + Assist with maintaining accurate files for accounting department.

    + Verify accounts by reconciling statements and transactions on a regular basis.

    + Complete daily accounting and finance tasks as needed.

    + Performs other duties as required or assigned

    WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT:

    + Excellent understanding of all components of accounting including systems, databases and metrics

    + Ability to be proactive, independent, efficient, and resourceful in a hands-on fluid environment

    + Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

    + Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships at all levels

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills

    + You majored in accounting or finance, or you have 1-2 years of accounts payable/ accounting experience

    + You have excellent Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables and V-lookups)

    The base pay range for this position is a salary range of $75,000-$100,000 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
