**Schedule:** Monday – Friday; must be available for variable shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) based on business need

**Pay Rate:** $33.00/hour

PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking an **Aircraft Mechanic** to support the prestigious **VC-25B Program** in San Antonio. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team maintaining and modifying one of the most high-profile aircraft programs in the world. Your skills will directly contribute to the safety, reliability, and mission readiness of these aircraft.

What You’ll Do

As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will:

+ Perform and assist with aircraft electrical modifications, wiring, and system components.

+ Complete connector terminations, routing, sealing, wrapping, and harness installation.

+ Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and retrofit requirements.

+ Support troubleshooting of electrical and environmental systems, both on the bench and on the flight line.

+ Assist with operational testing, installations, and modifications of wire bundles and electrical assemblies.

+ Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, government, and company requirements.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (structures, avionics, general mechanics) to meet cost and schedule goals.

+ Uphold the highest quality standards by following SA Tool and FOD procedures.

What We’re Looking For

Basic Qualifications (Required):

+ 1+ years of experience as an aircraft or electrical mechanic.

+ 1+ years of experience/knowledge of electrical/electronic theories and systems.

+ Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd).

+ Ability to pass assessments during training.

+ Capable of performing physical requirements including climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, lifting up to 35 lbs., and wearing protective equipment.

+ **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**

+ **Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.**

Preferred Qualifications (Desired):

+ Experience with **Depot Level/Modification maintenance** .

+ Ability to operate a forklift, mobile crane, or elevating equipment.

**Pay Details:** $33.00 per hour
