    The HRIS Analyst plays a key role in providing the highest quality of patient care while the patient is in at Union Health.

     

    Under the supervision of the System Director, Total Rewards the HRIS Analyst ensures data integrity in the design, development, reporting and maintenance of Human Resources information. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Compensation, Benefit, and HRIS data report building and generation, data analysis and system integration projects. The HRIS Analyst provides technical expertise regarding system administration and data analysis to support strategic decision-making of HR Leadership.

    HRIS Analyst Details

    Key Responsibilities

    + Manage and maintain the HRIS system to ensure performance and data integrity

    + Responsible for building, updating and maintaining data feed files to 3rd party vendors

    + Generate, analyze and deliver HR Queries, dashboards and metrics to support HR business processes

    + Develop ad-hoc queries and custom reports from department-specific requirements related to HR data

    + Collaborate with HR teams to provide data support for Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Acquisition and Performance Management

    + Support HRIS system upgrade and migration projects including requirements gathering, testing and implementation

    + Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Data Responsibilities:

    + Maintain accurate and current employee data within the HRIS System

    + Perform regular data audits and implement correction processes to maintain compliance

    + Designs and implements secure, efficient, and accurate methods and systems to appropriately use and report data across HR teams and organization.

    + Maintains current and accurate knowledge of data storage and management best practices.

    + Ensures that data projects and requests are completed on time and of high quality.

    + Develops and maintains documentation and standards.

    + Gathers, organizes, and interprets statistical data from the database to provide reports to, and answer questions from, leadership.

    + Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Management, Computer Science, or HR Systems strongly preferred

    2. At least two years of experience as an HRIS Analyst or working with HR databases

    3. At least two years working with relational databases, data reporting and analysis (HR data strongly preferred)

    Required Skills/Abilities

    + Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Excellent organization and time management skills.

    + Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (including Access), Lawson, Workday and Excel strongly preferred

    + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Understanding of computer languages used within database.

    + Understanding of data sourcing, report writing, and interpretation.
