    Job Summary:

    Information and Technology Services (ITS) is looking for an Application Developer Senior to join the Enterprise Applications Services (EAS) team within ITS.

     

    Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.     This position is a two-year term limited position.

    Responsibilities:

    + Collaborates with team members and service support groups to effectively resolve incidents, enhancement requests and fixes. Monitors applications and other systems for availability, error conditions, and performance

    + Aim to develop customer-focused solutions using technical design skills and relationships with internal groups

    + Work with business system analysts in formulating requirements and advise on solutions

    + Align with application standards and procedures, such as deploying changes

    + Assignments include development, automation, configuration, customization, troubleshooting, upgrades, integration, and maintenance of systems

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in computer science, business computing or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.

    + Experience applying appropriate technical tools to perform daily administration tasks, root-cause analysis and service restoration.

    + Programming experience with C#, JavaScript, XML

    + Experience with .NET Core, .NET, and MVC frameworks and MS SQL Server and Oracle databases

    + Experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, JSON)

    Desired Qualifications:

    + 5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Programmer, Systems Administrator, Systems Integrator, or related role

    + Proficiency with DevOps: Git, GitHub, MSBuild, Azure DevOps, TFS, PowerShell, NUnit, containerization (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes)

    + Experience with the Salesforce platform, including data modeling, data migration and data integration

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills
