Position Summary...
The Manager, Business Development, leads strategic initiatives to drive business growth by cultivating and maintaining key internal and external relationships. This role directs sales strategies, manages critical accounts, and ensures alignment with procurement and contractual standards. The position fosters a collaborative environment focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and talent development. By leveraging data insights and cross-functional partnerships, the manager supports business objectives while upholding the highest standards of integrity and ethics. This role is essential in delivering value to customers and advancing Walmart’s mission through effective leadership and operational excellence.
What you'll do...
+ **Own and manage** a pipeline of marketplace sellers and brands
+ **Guide sellers** through onboarding, educate on Seller Center, item setup, shipping, operational tools
+ **Drive sales and category expansion** by identifying in-demand assortment, optimizing seller performance
+ **Build and maintain relationships** with key external partners, including trade associations, vendors, and service providers
+ **Collaborate with seller** s to define launch plans, initial sales strategies
+ **Represent** **Walmart** at industry events and promote platform
+ **Work closely with internal teams** to ensure seamless seller experience and platform improvements
+ **Success in this role** is measured by the number of successful seller launches, sales growth, Walmart program adoption and category growth. Additional metrics include seller onboarding cycle and strength of partner engagement
What you'll bring:
Minimum 3+ years in business development, sales, or marketplace operations, with success in managing pipelines and onboarding sellers, including cross-border recruitment. Preferred experience in eCommerce or retail marketplaces, and familiarity with Walmart Fulfillment Services, Walmart Connect, SEM, Salesforce, HubSpot, and Looker. Spanish fluency is a plus.

Strategic thinking, sales and negotiation, relationship management, project coordination, and clear communication. Strong data fluency and adaptability in fast-paced environments. Cultural intelligence to tailor strategies to regional market dynamics.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
