Shift: Regular Working Hours Sun-Thurs but flexible sometimes will need to work 4-5 hours on a weekend (1x/ month this is a rotation) (Will continue to be on days) Sun-Thurs morning shift

Job Description:

Quality Control role will hold a bachelor’s degree in biology, Microbiology, or a related discipline, and bring hands-on exposure to aseptic techniques and microbiology practices, whether through academic research, internships, or industry settings. This is an onsite position requiring flexibility to occasionally work weekends or overtime, so strong motivation, teamwork, and a local presence are essential. While the role is entry-level with some training provided, candidates with a background in aseptic handling and microbiology will stand out as top prospects.

**Under general supervision, the QC Associate will perform routine procedures and testing in support of the QC Microbiology Lab. This position will be responsible for the following activities** :

+ Performing routine Microbiology laboratory procedures including Bioburden/Total Aerobic Microbial Count, Biological Indicator testing, Growth Promotion testing of Microbiology media, Container Closure Integrity and Media Fill inspection

+ Documenting, computing, compiling, interpreting, and entering data in Laboratory Information Management Systems

+ Maintaining and operating specialized equipment

+ Must learn and comply with safety guidelines and cGMPs/CFRs which includes, but is not limited to, the maintenance of training records, laboratory documentation, written procedures, building monitoring systems and laboratory logbooks.

+ Ability to adhere to regulatory requirements, written procedures and safety guidelines

+ Ability to evaluate documentation/data according to company and regulatory guidelines

+ Ability to organize work, handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines

+ Strong written and oral communication skills

+ Must be detail orientatedMust be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and requirementsDemonstrate understanding of regulatory requirements, safety guidelines and factors impacting complianceDemonstrates understanding of when and how to appropriately escalate.

+ May identify, recommend and implement improvements related to routine job functions

Must Have Skill Sets:

+ Motivated, responsible, ability to work in teams

+ Flexibility to work overtime in off hours or weekends when needed

+ Should be detail oriented and have knowledge of GMP and Microbiology

+ Comfortable working fully onsite not a remote role.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

+ Reading procedures, getting training completed and performing GMP testing, Stocking media and supplies in the labs, managing inventory, performing daily cleaning of labs.
