• Test Technicians

    US Tech Solutions (Fairfield, OH)


    **Duration:** 06 Months Contract

    Job Description:

    + Responsibilities include detailed UPS set up, testing units, troubleshooting, and interacting with customers during FAT.

    + Will work under the direction of the Manufacturing & Test Manager and collaborate with other Test Technicians to ensure standards are met.

    Responsibilities:

    + Set up UPS (uninterruptible power supply)

    + Perform product testing and operation of product.

    + Be able to operate switchgears, switchboards, and load banks.

    + Be able to open and close AC/DC circuit breakers.

    + Customer interacting during FAT.

    + Ensure all other assigned tasks are performed in a timely manner.

    + Assist Test Engineer on a day-to-day task.

    + Provide backup for Test Engineer as needed.

    + Perform work related and in support to continuous improvement activities.

    + Other duties as needed

    Experience:

    + Experience with high voltage testing a major plus.

    + Ability to effectively communicate, both written and oral, in English.

    + Good computer skills, including familiarity with MS Word and Excel.

    Skills:

    + Ability to use basic electronic test and measurement equipment, such as DVM’s, Digital Power meter, oscilloscopes in mid-level, and to correctly interpret the results.

    + Ability to use basic hand tools (open wrenches, screw drivers, pliers, and wire cutters).

    Education:

    + Associate of Arts/Science in Electrical Engineering or Technology, with four (2) year’s comparable experience; Certificate of Completion from a Technical Trade Schoolyears in process of attaining and/or Advanced Military technical school, plus four (4) year’s comparable work experience. High School Degree/GED or equivalent required.
