Job Description

**_Pay Range_** : _$18.00 - $26.00 per hour_

Job Summary:

We’re seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Contract/Temporary Entry-Level Welder/Machinist. No prior experience is required, just a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a passion for working with your hands. This is a great opportunity to start a career in metalworking and gain valuable skills in both welding and machining. _This is a Contract position._

Responsibilities:

+ Assist in basic welding tasks including MIG and TIG welding under supervision

+ Operate and maintain basic machining equipment such as lathes, mills, and grinders

+ Read and interpret technical drawings

+ Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other tools

+ Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding or machining

+ Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

+ Support senior welders and machinists with daily tasks and projects

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or GED preferred

+ No prior welding or machining experience required (willing to train)

+ Basic math and measurement skills

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

+ Willingness to learn and take direction

+ Strong attention to detail and safety

**_Pay Range:_** _$18.00 - $26.00 per hour_

Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
