    We are seeking a Sales Proposal Coordinator – Senior Analyst to join our Commercial Seating and Furniture organization in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This role is a key contributor within our Business Development team, working closely with Engineering, Program Management, and Business Unit Leadership.

     

    As a Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting external sales by reviewing RFPs/RFIs, coordinating proposal packages, and contributing to business pursuit strategy. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly detail-oriented, and is motivated to take initiative and grow their career.

     

    You will have the opportunity to own projects from start to finish, drive efficiency improvements, and collaborate across multiple functions to deliver results that directly impact business growth.

     

    **What You Will Do** :

    + Lead and manage Request for Proposal (RFP) responses from receipt through hand-off to Program Management/Engineering, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

    + Prepare and present project financials for management review and approval.

    + Partner with the sales team to develop project budgets, pricing models, and negotiation strategies.

    + Coordinate and analyze technical information, product specifications, and work scopes with engineering to prepare comprehensive proposals.

    + Evaluate and interpret product cost information for financial presentations.

    + Collaborate with Program Management and Engineering leadership to verify and optimize project schedules.

    + Review, coordinate, and draft responses to customer inquiries with clarity and professionalism.

    + Support the legal team in preparing customer contracts.

    + Proactively identify opportunities to improve proposal processes, drive efficiencies, and strengthen business development outcomes.

    + Perform other related duties as needed to support organizational goals.

    **Qualifications You Must Have** :

    + Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field

    **Qualifications We Prefer** :

    + Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP), Microsoft Word, and CRM systems, with experience creating and formatting professional documents and reports, including converting files to PDF for distribution and recordkeeping.

    + Experience with financial modeling and analysis.

    + Prior experience in proposal development or sales support.

    + Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

    + Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills.

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands.

    + Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across all organizational levels.

    + A proactive sense of urgency, coupled with an eagerness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.

    The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

     

    RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

     

    Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

     

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
