The United Arab Emirates (UAE) portfolio within the Land & Air Defense Systems (L&ADS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Specialist in Cost Controls. This role will support the high-demand UAE Patriot portfolio within the Global Patriot Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU). These programs deliver capability and modernization to the UAE Air Force and Air Defence (AFAD) through Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract types.
This fast-growing program office is working multiple strategic captures to enhance capabilities for our international customer. This position involves frequent interaction and collaboration with various functions (finance, engineering, operations, contracts, and program office) and multiple levels of leadership, necessitating strong presentation and communication skills, as well as a robust understanding of financial performance management and processes.

_This role is offered in an onsite capacity and is_ _based on the needs of the business. Onsite work can be done at the Tewksbury, MA; Andover, MA; McKinney, TX, Huntsville, AL or St. Petersburg, FL_ _location. Relocation assistance is not being offered._
What You Wil Do
+ Act as a business partner to UAE Patriot program leadership and finance peers
+ Manage Earned Value cost and schedule metrics and drive variance understanding
+ Prepare various finance charts for Program Management Reviews, financial overviews, and other reporting activities
+ Coordinate and develop Estimates at Complete (EACs)
+ Establish a compliant performance management baseline
+ Provide financial planning & support for AOP, LRP, and monthly forecasts
+ Participate in key leadership strategy reviews
+ Gain full-spectrum exposure to the program lifecycle & gates, including program close-out, proposal development, and program start-up
+ Support the development of CDRLs
Qualifications You Must Have
+ Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field & 5 years related work experience; OR an Advanced degree with 3 years related work experience
+ Experience with EVMS (or similar processes), Program Controls (Cost/Schedule), and/or EAC process
+ Experience with SAP (APEX, PRISM & AO), EDIT+ or a similar system
+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

**Onsite** : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
