    NTT DATA seeks a **Claims Refund Specialist** on a **project** basis to work **remote, from home** . This is a full-time, temporary role. **Must have TPA experience.**

     

    Start Date: ASAP

    100% Remote-client provides equipment

    90 Day temp to hire opportunity

     

    The Refund Specialist reports to the Claims Manager. This position is responsible for handling the processing of voids and refunds.

    Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

    + Processes all voids and refunds

    + Handles all stop payments

    + Coordinates refunds with Finance department

    + Maintains refunds at a 30-day TAT

    + Performs other duties as assigned

    Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:

    + High School Education required.

    + Minimum 3 years experience of Claims Processing

    + Minimum 1 year experience processing claims adjustments and refunds .

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience working with the public.

    Preferred Skills:

    + Previous insurance billing or customer service background recommended

    + Communicate in a clear and concise manner, while also demonstrating receptivity through active listening.

    + Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and suggest ways in which procedures/systems may be modified to accomplish tasks/goal efficiently and effectively.

    + Demonstrate a teamwork philosophy by working cooperatively with others inside and outside the Claims Department.

    + Attend required in-service and staff meetings.

    Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is ($23-$24/hourly). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
