We are currently seeking a Systems Administration Analyst to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky (US-KY), United States (US).
Telecom Analyst
Hybrid onsite in Louisville, KY
Must be able to work on NTT DATA payroll
Key Responsibilities:
+ Design and implement high-performance WLAN infrastructure to support logistics operations, including warehouses, distribution centers, and transportation hubs.
+ Conduct predictive and on-site wireless site surveys to ensure optimal RF coverage and minimal interference in complex environments.
+ Perform wireless packet captures and trace analysis using tools such as Wireshark, Omnipeek, or vendor-specific platforms to diagnose and resolve complex wireless issues.
+ Support and optimize wireless connectivity for robotic systems such as AGVs, AMRs, robotic picking arms, and conveyor systems that rely on real-time wireless communication.
+ Design, deploy, and maintain microwave data links for high-throughput, point-to-point wireless connectivity between facilities or remote sites.
+ Monitor WLAN and microwave link performance, proactively addressing latency, interference, and throughput issues.
+ Collaborate with automation, operations, and IT teams to ensure wireless infrastructure meets the performance and reliability needs of robotic and IoT systems.
+ Manage WLAN and microwave-related projects including expansions, upgrades, and new facility deployments.
+ Ensure wireless network security and compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
+ Maintain detailed documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
+ Mentor junior analysts and provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams.
+ Manage vendor relationships and coordinate support for wireless and microwave hardware and software.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
+ Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in WLAN design and support, preferably in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing environments.
+ 5+ years of Experience with enterprise wireless platforms.
+ 5+ years of experience in wireless standards and security protocols.
+ Hands-on experience with microwave data link technologies (e.g., Cambium).
Certifications (Preferred):
+ CWNA, CWSP, CCNP Wireless, or equivalent.
Technical Skills:
+ Strong knowledge of 802.11 standards, RF propagation, and wireless security protocols.
+ Proficiency with wireless site survey tools (e.g., AirCheck G3, iBWave, Hamina).
+ Expertise in wireless trace and packet capture tools (e.g., Wireshark, Omnipeek).
+ Familiarity with robotic systems used in logistics (e.g., AGVs, AMRs) and their wireless communication requirements.
+ Experience with microwave backhaul systems, including line-of-sight planning, antenna alignment, and throughput optimization.
+ Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode/RFID technologies, and IoT integration.

+ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
+ Ability to work in fast-paced, physically dynamic environments.
