    + **_Inpatient Rehab_**

    + **_PRN (hours vary) - 1 weekend Day per Month_**

     

    Join Premier Health’s Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities (IFC) across the region, where we provide comprehensive care for patients with complex medical, nursing, and rehabilitative needs. Our coordinated interdisciplinary team approach ensures the highest quality of care.

We provide training in both areas to help you expand your skills. Plus, you’ll only need to work one weekend day per month, giving you more time for what matters most.

    As a Physical Therapist under the general supervision of the Manager of Inpatient Rehab, you will be responsible for:

    + Conducting initial patient evaluations, reassessments, and discharge summaries for diverse populations.

    + Administering treatments based on evaluations and reassessments.

    + Completing documentation promptly and maintaining departmental productivity standards.

    + Delegating tasks appropriately to team members.

    + Participating in the case management of rehabilitation services.

    + Performing non-clinical tasks to support smooth daily operations.

    + Engaging in one to two departmental, hospital, or community programs/meetings.

    + Teaching, orienting, training, supervising, and mentoring co-workers, new employees, volunteers, and a minimum of one student annually.

    Qualifications:

    + Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program required.

    + Current Physical Therapist license for the state of Ohio required.

    + BLS certification required within 30-days of hire

    + Effective communication skills with the ability to problem-solve, plan, and prioritize.

    + Flexibility and adaptability in various situations.

    + Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making while maintaining confidentiality.

    + Demonstrates a positive and constructive attitude, initiative, dependability, cooperation, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

    + Adherence to the Code of Ethical Conduct as defined by the APTA's Code of Ethics.
