    About the role

     

    The MRO Clerk is responsible for maintaining, managing, and auditing warehouse inventory. The individual in this role coordinates all material assets and ensures adequate auditing procedures to maintain accurate, detailed inventory information. Additionally, this individual finds and resolves any recorded errors and coordinates with warehouse managers to confirm accurate counts and up-to-date documentation.

     

    By accurately assessing materials and supplies, in addition to other crucial clerical duties, the MRO Clerk contributes to the ongoing delivery of world-class service.

     

    This is a day shift about 8am-5pm Monday- Friday onsite role in Concord, NC at a pharmaceutical, manufacturing facility. There is one weekend a month with a rotating shift.

     

    What you’ll do

     

    Maintains inventory of all material assets. Manages inventory through auditing procedures that include cycle counting of small subsets of inventory, in specific locations, at specifically scheduled times.

     

    Audits warehouse inventory reports using physical checks to ensure accurate system accounting.

     

    Enters inventory information into a controlled software system to ensure availability of accurate information.

     

    Performs labeling of materials in accordance with required procedures

     

    Prepares and maintains documentation for the purpose of providing written support and/or conveying information.

     

    Reconciles discrepancies in asset records (e.g. physical count versus reported items)

     

    Coordinates with warehouse managers to facilitate the cycle counting process for each area.

     

    What you’ll need

     

    High School diploma or GED equivalent required and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.

     

    Must hold a valid and active drivers license.

     

    Monday-Friday schedule with the flexibility to support a rotational on-call and potentially overtime and/or weekend shifts as needed.

     

    CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) experience is a plus (Maximo or SAP ERP) nice to have.

     

    Forklift experience preferred.

     

    Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.

     

    May require equipment certification for forklift and power pallet jack.

     

    Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.

     

    Comfortable meeting and engaging with new people; good communication skills.

     

    Warm and engaging demeanor. Ability to assess circumstances, empathize and offer help.

     

    Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.

     

    Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.

     

    Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, handheld mobile technologies, and applications.

     

    Ability to use computer system to record materials received and shipped.

     

    Physical ability to assist with warehouse operations. Able to lift 50 lbs.

     

    Attention to detail and good interpersonal skills.
