• Staffing Coordinator - SRO

    Responsibilities:

    + Perform allocation and staffing functions in collaboration with hospital nursing leadership to ensure the appropriate assignment of hospital staff to support the delivery of patient care.

    + Proactively communicates with Staffing Resource Office (SRO) team members as well as hospital nursing leadership to provide transparency of hospital staffing needs, availability of labor resources, and recommendations for reallocation of resources to include a priority of staffing needs based upon unit matrix variances. ensure hospital and regional demands are met.

    + Maintains staffing schedules, balances schedules, prepares staffing reports, performs data-entry and assists departments in the allocation of available resources.

    + Reviews staffing variances, monitors dashboards, collects and summarizes data and runs reports to ensure the correct allocation of resources.

    + Determines allocation of staffing resources based upon anticipated daily resource needs.

    + Works with Nurse Managers and contacts SRO team members to cover vacancies and fill unplanned staffing needs. Travel to hospitals within the region when necessary.

    + May coordinate bed utilization by overseeing the maintenance of all patient flow and bed availability in collaboration with patient placement center. Utilizes an electronic staffing system platform and requires strong communication with unit leaders and within the SRO team.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + HS Graduate or Equivalent GED

    + **1 year of Clerical experience required**
