    Position:** **Security Coordinator / Sergeant

     

    Facility:** **St. Joseph's South Hospital

    The** **Security Coordinator/Sergeant** **performs general safety & security duties including:

    + Patrol and detection services

    + Assisting customers

    + Response and intervention responsibilities

    + Provides monitoring services to assure team member, patient and visitor safety

    + Completes communication and documentation tools

    + Conducts weapons screening in appropriate manner

    + Coordinates staff activities, assigns work for given shift, and provides communication between shifts

    + Creates monthly schedules, provides training, and provides input for performance evaluations

    + Assists supervisor with investigations, and reviews security incident reports and daily event logs to ensure proper documentation

    + Performs other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Certifications and Licensures

    + **Driver's License (State of Florida)**

    + **IAHSS (Security) - Within 1 year**

    + **Security D - Within 90 days**

    + **Preferred:** **FDLE (Law Enforcement)**

    Education

    + **High School or Equivalent**

    + **Preferred:** **Associate's in Related Field**

    Experience

    + **3 Years of Security experience**

    **Location:** Riverview, FL

     

    Status:** **Full Time

     

    Shift Hours:** **6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

     

    Weekend Work:** **Every
