    _What’s the job?_

     

    The Saint-Gobain Omniseal Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Digital Solutions Engineer to join the Global Digital & Engineering Services Team to accelerate digital transformation strategy for Omniseal Solutions™. You will be working with the technical team and collaborate closely with data and IT experts to lead the development and support of digital and data-driven solutions, with a strong focus on data integration, software architecture, and cross-platform integrations that drive innovation and operational efficiency. You will use Agile and Scrum methodologies to work with technical, commercial and operational teams, leveraging the latest digital tools, services, platforms etc. to help improve business process efficiency. You will also be part of the direct customer facing digital engineering software development team to unlock additional value for our customers, shape the future of our business, and capture value through digital transformation projects.

     

    + Design and implement robust software architecture, data workflows, and digital solutions to support data-driven projects and scalable application development.

    + Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, IT, and business stakeholders to define deliverables and identify opportunities for impactful software solutions, including data ingestion, processing, and delivery.

    + Develop and maintain web-based applications and software tools using Python, JavaScript, SQL etc. with experience in frameworks such as Django, Flask, or similar platforms to streamline backend development.

    + Engage with internal and external partners to understand requirements and contribute to the design of resilient software platforms and architectures.

    + Build and support digital applications and analytics tools that enhance decision-making and customer value, leveraging modern technologies and platforms.

    + Support data storage and integration needs through effective use of relational databases, with a focus on performance, scalability, and alignment with software systems.

    + Incorporate security best practices into software development, including encryption and data lifecycle management, to ensure compliance and protect data integrity.

    + Utilize Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services to deliver cloud-based software solutions and applications.

    + Contribute to front-end development efforts and collaborate with UI/UX developers to enhance user experience and interface design.

    _What do you bring?_

     

    + Bachelor degree with 5+ years of experience or Master degree with 2+ years of experience plus demonstrated technical accomplishments. Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Engineering or other Engineering discipline with relevant background.

    + Experience in digital and data related area.

    + Proven experience with Python, SQL, Django or similar platforms

    + Ability to define and implement modular software architecture and data workflows

    + Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and AWS infrastructure, services, and tools

    + Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

    + Clear understanding of data security principles (encryption, retention, etc.) as applied in software systems

    + Experience with integrating and delivering data within software systems to support business logic and decision-making workflows

    + Hands-on experience with Database design and management systems supporting application performance and API-based data integration.

    + Experience contributing to data engineering standards and optimization techniques as part of broader software development initiatives.

    + Experience in Front-end development through job experience or projects.

    Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $89,500.00 to $138,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

     

    In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 12% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $100,240.00 to $155,120.00. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
