LEARNING MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (LMS), Lemelson/MIT Program (LMIT), will lead the design and implementation of the technology-related components of in-person, online, and hybrid instructional offerings and events, and the procurement, integration, and management of technologies and platforms needed for all initiatives and/or team operations; provide technical assistance and training to staff within the Lemelson-MIT Program (LMIT); coordinate the technological aspects of LMIT’s work; and lead collaborative decision-making processes surrounding LMIT’s adoption and implementation of new technologies and/or adaptation/integration of existing technologies for educational programming and program operations including, but not limited to, Hubspot, DropBox, Microsoft Office tools and SharePoint, and Zoom.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: High School diploma or equivalent; a minimum of two years of experience utilizing learning management systems and creating online courseware for high school and/or college students; familiarity with other third-party educational technologies that may be integrated into Canvas; demonstrated expertise in experiential learning and strategies for fostering learner engagement in online learning contexts; expertise in using common publishing tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Google Suite; and strong technical and problem-solving skills, with the desire and ability to learn new technologies and stay current in a rapidly changing field. PREFERRED: Bachelor’s degree; experience with Canvas LMS; experience with Hubspot along with using artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR) to enhance educational offerings; knowledge of assistive technologies and accessibility guidelines; and strong organizational, multi-tasking, and project management skills and the ability to adhere to deadlines while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
May need to work nights and weekends during LMIT’s educational offerings or events.
