Position Overview: The RHYS Program Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Sanctuary and the Street Outreach Program. Supervises and hires RHYS & SOP shift supervisors, specialists & administrative assistant staff. The Program Supervisor is responsible to provide some weekend coverage. The RHYS Program Supervisor is expected to develop and maintain a team approach in carrying out treatment services and create an active therapeutic milieu. The Program Supervisor is responsible to ensure that all vehicles are maintained; staff schedules are set and posted to meet with OCFS standards, all supplies needed for the program are in ample supply and monitors the physical condition of the building and grounds.

Position Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma is required with a minimum of five years supervisory experience at The Children’s Village or at another residential treatment center or equivalent childcare setting or a Bachelor’s Degree plus two year supervisory experience in residential care of youth

+ Ability to manage and promote a therapeutic environment, taking into account the varying clinical needs of each child.

+ Development of programs that have enriched the treatment milieu.

+ Ability to conduct program evaluation.

+ Written documentation must be clear and appropriate.
