Hybrid Schedule: May travel to office 2-3 times per month as needed
**Objective of Position:** The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for the daily processing of all transactions for both commercial and consumer loans. This role will set up and maintain data on the system for new and renewed loans.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Boarding and funding of new, renewed and modified loans on the core loan system for all commercial and consumer loans
+ Performs loan maintenance including but not limited to adjusting billing schedules, amortizations, risk rating updates and adjusting escrow records
+ Responsible for performing system and documentation research, correcting errors were identified
+ Process monetary transactions that include but are not limited to payments, advances, recoveries and monetary corrections
+ Reviews and generates payoff letters
+ Research and respond to complaints and consumer credit reporting
+ Reconcile and process SWAP related transactions
+ Responsible for executing special asset loan requests including but not limited to Charge-off, Non-Accrual, Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, and Note Sales
+ Responsible for reviewing and processing various daily, weekly and monthly reports
+ Reconciles loan accounts to G/L accounts
+ Responsible for ensuring daily work is in balance
+ Assists with data collection and reporting for loan related projects and audits
+ Responsible for complying with all Bank policies and Federal and State banking laws and regulations
+ Collaborate with all employees across the bank to drive meaningful and strategic changes such as process improvements, system testing and client experience enhancements
+ All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
+ High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree preferred
+ 2+ years of work experience in Banking
+ 1+ years of commercial loan operation and/or consumer loan operations experience preferred
+ Knowledge of e-Oscar preferred
+ Knowledge of Chatham preferred
+ Knowledge of FIS banking systems such as IBS Insight, FCM and e-Wires preferred
+ Proficiency in MS Office applications
+ Must be able to multi-task and use critical thinking in a fast-paced environment
+ Provide exceptional customer service and maintain proactive communication with business partners
+ Meet or exceed established Service Level Agreements
+ Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail, must be able to work independently or in a team setting
+ Impeccable time management skills
+ Ability to make sound decisions based upon department, bank policies, procedures, knowledge and experience
+ Expertise and knowledge to interpret both Laser Pro and Attorney prepared documents and process on the bank’s core system accurately
+ Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with all levels within the organization
+ Ability to identify, understand and define problems, evaluate alternatives, set priorities, manage projects and implement high quality solutions
+ Contribute and maintain a positive work atmosphere of mutual respect
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office equipment. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices.

This role allows for a combination of remote and in-office work, with occasional visits to the office based on business needs. Specific in-office days may vary and will be discussed during the interview process.
Compensation & Benefits:
Byline Bank offers competitive industry rate salary bands with the goal of retaining and growing talented individuals. We regularly review and adjust our compensation structure as needed to ensure equity across teams and levels.
The hourly rate for this position is between $21.63 to $26.92
In addition, Byline provides benefits including medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, paid time off and much more! Depending on the specific role, compensation may also include discretionary bonuses and other benefit programs. The actual compensation package may vary based on factors such as skill set, experience level, and candidate's location.
