Scope/Supervision and Interaction:
Leads do not have direct reports, and report to a Supervisor, Value Stream Team Lead, or Value Stream Manager
Organize associates and equipment in area to meet daily production goals provided by the leadership team. Run daily area production meetings to review previous days performance. Audit Team Improvement Board and Day By Hour boards daily. Follow and support the training program including training associates as necessary. Be able to lead weekend overtime.
+ Cell Leadership
+ Run daily production meetings for area
+ Run weekend overtime
+ Identify understaffed or overstaffed conditions
+ Assign associates and equipment to meet daily production goals
+ Order supplies for the cell
+ Daily Lean Tasks
+ Audit Team Improvement Board (TIB)
+ Understand and speak to Day by Hour (DBH) and TIB
+ Audit DBH at least every 2 hours
+ Lead creation and execution of BARN reports
+ Follow escalation plan(s)
+ Personnel Issues
+ Deescalate minor personnel issues
+ Alert leadership team or HR on all personnel issues ASAP
+ Provide feedback to leadership team on associate performance with training and annual reviews
+ Training/Work Instructions
+ Sign off on process sheet changes
+ Create new part process sheets
+ Train associates in area
+ Follow and support the training program
+ Capable of performing and auditing line setups
+ Work in Assigned Area
+ Capable of doing most of the tasks within your assigned area
+ Understand all tasks within area
+ Work in area as necessary
High School Degree or Equivalent
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
+ Good problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to communicate with both associates and leadership team.
+ Able to present to small groups of people.
+ Basic computer knowledge.
+ Ability to use Word, Excel, and/or Power Point.
+ Able to support all Lean initiatives in area (BARN, DBH, TIB).
+ Able to train other associates
+ Able to work cooperatively and professionally with others
+ Ability to prioritize and move between multiple task.
Typical Mental and Physical Demands:
+ Spend most of the day walking or standing
+ Small portion of day using a computer
+ Both near and far vision to evaluate parts and processes
+ Both direct and work with other associates, leads, Mfg Engineers, and/or leadership team.
+ Lead or work on multiple projects

Competitive Compensation
+ Pay Range: $23.75/hr to $35.5/hr
+ Participation in Annual Incentive Program
