    Our client, the electric utility industry, is seeking a Technician Associate to join their team. As a Technician Associate, you will be part of the Grid Modernization and Transmission Projects supporting design and analysis efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Technician Associate

    **Location:** Fort Wayne, IN

     

    Pay Range: 23.57

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Utilize DDS software to analyze distribution utility poles for grid modernization or line rebuild projects.

    + Track project due dates and collaborate with design teams, project managers, and line coordinators to ensure design accuracy and quality.

    + Assist in handling routine problems and support the development of technical reports and documentation.

    + Support design of grid modernization and transmission-related projects across service territories.

    + Participate in travel as needed for project support and damage assessment during storms.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, with 2 years of related utility industry experience or an Associate's Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Civil/Mechanical Engineering Technology.

    + Ability to read and understand schematic drawings.

    + Comfortable with customer service and data entry tasks.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

    + Physical demand level is sedentary; ability to support travel within service territory.
