    Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and engineering industry, is seeking a dedicated CAD Operator to join their team. As a CAD Operator, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Department supporting project development and production processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team environment.

     

    **Job Title:** CAD Operator

    **Location:** Groton, Connecticut

    **Pay Range:** $56000 - $62400

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Develop 3D CAD solid models and detailed 2D drawings to support manufacturing and product development.

    + Work closely with engineering, project managers, and production staff to translate concepts into practical designs.

    + Maintain and update bill of materials and related product data sheets for accuracy and consistency.

    + Interface with vendors to resolve design and fabrication issues, ensuring project timelines are met.

    + Assist in creating graphical details for operational instructions, manuals, and technical data sheets.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience in CAD modeling and drafting, preferably with AutoCAD Electrical and SolidWorks.

    + Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or DraftSight, with CSWP SolidWorks Professional Certification preferred.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and vendors.

    + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet project deadlines efficiently.
