Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be an integral part of the Industrial department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

**Job Title:** Machinist

**Location:** Clare, MI

**Pay Range:** Based on experience

What's the Job?

+ Set up and operate machine equipment including CNC, milling, boring, drilling, tapping, threading, and lathes.

+ Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists to support manufacturing processes.

+ Utilize JD Edwards, work order routings/parts lists, and paperwork to complete jobs accurately.

+ Read, interpret, and utilize blueprints to ensure precise machining.

+ Perform quality checks, deburr parts, and verify work with machinist measurement tools like calipers and micrometers.

What's Needed?

+ High School diploma or GED equivalent.

+ At least 1 year of related experience or training in machining.

+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and using measurement tools.

+ Ability to program CNC equipment utilizing G&M codes and conversational programming languages.

+ Strong commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
