Mainstay Supportive Housing and Home Care, Inc. is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals with experience or a strong interest in caregiving for this population to join us as Residential Support Specialists. In this entry-level position, you'll have the opportunity to utilize your skills and compassion to provide personalized care and support to our diverse resident community.

     

    Afternoon into Evening Shifts Available in Malden, MA (MBTA Accessible, Malden Center) !

    Responsibilities:

    + Engaging Interactions:Forge meaningful connections with residents, staff, and family members through positive interactions.

    + Companionship:Provide companionship and support to residents through recreational activities during daily visits.

    + Life Skills Coaching:Utilize your experience or interest in caregiving to assist residents with activities of daily living, including medication reminders, personal hygiene, meal preparation, and housekeeping.

    + Documentation:Maintain accurate records of daily service logs and track progress towards residents' care plan goals.

    + Meal Preparation:Prepare dinner for/with residents and adhere to dietary plans.

    + Communication:Report any changes in residents' health or behavior to the supervisor.

    Qualifications:

    + Education:High School Diploma

    + Experience or Interest in Caregiving:Prior experience or a strong interest in caregiving for individuals living with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

    + Dependability:Demonstrate reliability and commitment to fulfilling job responsibilities consistently.

    + Compassion:We value individuals with the right skills and personality traits, regardless of prior experience.

    + Certifications:CPR and First Aid certifications preferred, or ability to obtain within the first 30 days of employment.
