    We’re looking for a licensed Salon Manager to contract with us to lead the two Salons on our senior living campuses in Eden Prairie and west Bloomington. If you’re a licensed cosmetologist with a Salon Manager License and a heart for senior care, this is your chance to make a real difference. Our Salons serve residents in Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Long Term Care. The days of the week and hours are negotiable. Given the size of our communities, providing salon hours 2–3 days per week in Eden Prairie and 2-3 days per week in west Bloomington is adequate to meet the needs of our residents.

    What We’re Looking For:

    Salon Manager License

     

    Background in elder care or willingness to train in senior-specific needs

     

    Strong leadership and organizational skills

     

    Compassionate and respectful communicator

    Responsibilities

    The independent contractor beautician is responsible for providing services in accordance with resident preferences including shampooing, styling, cutting, trimming etc. while maintaining compliance with best practice and regulations.

    Qualifications

    + Current Cosmetologist Managers License. Experience with seniors a plus.

    + Current Salon Manager license.

    + Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.

    + Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

     

    Pay Range

     

    This is an independent contractor position. Average hourly rate varies. Anticipated range around $24-$29/hour.
