Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will lead troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities related to equipment and act as the first level of escalation for lower-level technicians. You will inspect, operate, and test machinery or equipment to diagnose electrical and mechanical malfunctions, dismantle and rebuild machinery, and perform routine preventative and predictive maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
+ Lead and perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance on equipment.
+ Inspect, operate, or test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
+ Dismantle and rebuild machinery to remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, and various tools.
+ Conduct routine preventative maintenance such as inspecting drives and motors, checking fluid levels, and replacing filters.
+ Lead the Predictive Maintenance (PdM) program and verify lower technicians' findings.
+ Utilize repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts catalogs as necessary.
+ Repair machines and equipment using tools like hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and precision measuring instruments.
+ Maintain and troubleshoot relay logic, control field devices, and other electrical components.
+ Mentor junior technicians and provide safety training.
+ Review and complete work orders timely and perform necessary maintenance or repairs.
+ Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and ensure compliance among maintenance personnel.
+ Maintain positive working relationships and communicate with Plant Management regarding maintenance issues.
+ Complete daily reports outlining maintenance or repairs conducted.
+ Participate in root cause analysis events and comply with safety, food quality, and sanitation policies.
Essential Skills
+ 3 to 5 years of experience for Level 2 candidates.
+ 7+ years of experience for Level 3 candidates.
+ Electrical, troubleshooting, and maintenance technician skills.
+ Mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics knowledge.
+ Experience with three-phase systems and PLC troubleshooting.
+ Ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs efficiently.
+ Capability to mentor and train maintenance team members.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ HVAC experience.
+ Strong communication skills.
+ Capability to coordinate maintenance schedules with Plant Management.
+ Willingness to continue education and training in related multi-craft skills.
+ Ability to provide own tools.

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
