Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Associate and play a crucial role in supporting our operations during this busy season. This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity and not seasonal. You will work closely with another warehouse associate to ensure efficient daily operations.

Responsibilities

+ Make boxes for the slitting machines in the morning.

+ Operate the automated slitting machine, which may take up to 50% of your day.

+ Perform put aways and pick orders in the morning.

+ Scan items into the inventory system using SAP in the afternoon.

+ Assist with order picking and handling two weekly shipments, which includes unloading trucks and receiving items.

+ Utilize pump trucks, pallet jacks, and a counterbalance forklift as needed.

+ Handle packages weighing up to 50 lbs, which may occur up to ten times an hour.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to lift 50 lbs.

+ 1 year of warehouse picking experience.

+ Strong computer skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with SAP.

+ Counterbalance forklift license.

+ Experience with Oracle and AS400 systems.

Work Environment

Work in a small team of four people, sharing the workload in a fast-paced environment. The position operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an hour unpaid lunch break. The role involves handling and moving packages, with some weighing up to 50 lbs, requiring physical stamina and teamwork. The facility is equipped with pump trucks, pallet jacks, and a counterbalance forklift to aid in daily tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Euless, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
