    Job Title: Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 1st shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all machinery and facility equipment throughout the plant.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain and repair plant machinery, including industrial saws, hand and power tools, welders, torches, plasma cutters, hoists, and material handling equipment.

    + Troubleshoot electrical systems regularly up to 3-phase 480v and change out electrical motors, following schematics if available.

    + Install new machinery using material handling equipment, lifts, and potentially pour concrete.

    + Complete and adhere to a detailed preventive maintenance (PM) schedule.

    + Troubleshoot PLC systems by following ladder logic if necessary.

    + Perform facilities maintenance tasks as needed, such as lighting, plumbing, carpentry, and overhead doors.

    + Engage in welding and fabrication tasks.

    + Regularly use multi-meters for various tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of multi-craft industrial maintenance experience, particularly in troubleshooting fabrication equipment like lasers, turrets, and brake presses.

    + Mechanical maintenance expertise, including hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and conveyors.

    + Electrical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to read schematics, use a multimeter, and troubleshoot systems up to 480v 3-phase.

    + Experience in PLC troubleshooting, with the ability to read and follow ladder logic, and troubleshoot relays, switches, and sensors.

    + Proficiency in facility maintenance, covering lighting, plumbing, carpentry, and overhead doors.

    Work Environment

     

    This position is located in a chassis fabrication plant, which is busy, loud, and can be messy at times. The work hours are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm on the 1st shift, averaging 40-50 hours per week.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
