Maintenance Manager
Pay Rate - $125k+
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager responsible for coordinating and directing operational activities within the Maintenance department. This role includes managing department budgets, scheduling, planning, and ensuring efficient manpower utilization. The Maintenance Manager will implement effective quality systems, oversee training and development of human resources, and administer plant policies and procedures. Additionally, the role involves promoting continual improvement and monitoring safety, health, and environmental programs.
Responsibilities
+ Coordinate with Production managers for machine availability to perform maintenance activities.
+ Communicate with Production Material Control Planner to assess feasibility of shutting down lines.
+ Coordinate modifications, fabrications, process changes, and training issues with the Engineering department.
+ Maintain consistent communication with supervisors and technicians during maintenance activities.
+ Monitor equipment activities and communicate with all departments.
+ Coordinate and direct predictive and productive maintenance programs including tool wear, uptime optimization, fluid analysis, infrared monitoring, and vibration analysis.
+ Oversee building maintenance activities and coordinate with all departments.
+ Manage grounds maintenance and oversee minor repair work.
+ Participate in the hiring process and conduct employee performance evaluations.
+ Identify training needs and coordinate training activities.
+ Facilitate monthly maintenance meetings and communicate with all departments.
+ Monitor costs on each cost center and investigate excessive costs.
+ Facilitate on-site/off-site training and develop electrical/electronic and hydraulic skills.
+ Uphold safety and sustainability culture, perform safety audits, and support incident investigations.

The role is based in a manufacturing facility currently operating seven days a week. The environment promotes safety and sustainability, and involves collaboration across various departments.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
