Production Operator - Richmond, KY

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our team. This role involves general loading and unloading tasks, supporting machine operators, and sorting parts into crates. While the parts are small and lightweight, the crates may become heavy once filled.

Responsibilities

+ Assist machine operators in daily tasks.

+ Load and unload materials efficiently.

+ Sort parts into crates accurately.

+ Ensure that all production processes adhere to safety standards.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production and machine operation.

+ Proficiency in assembly tasks.

+ General labor experience.

+ Ability to operate a forklift.

+ Experience in packaging and inspection.

+ Skilled in using hand tools.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience as a machine operator or laborer.

+ Knowledge in pick and pack operations.

Work Environment

The work environment involves three shifts: 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:15 PM, 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:15 PM, and 3rd shift from 11:00 PM to 7:15 AM. Flexibility is required as overtime is likely, with the possibility of working 50-60 hours per week. You may also be asked to start early or stay late. Safety gear, including steel-toed boots and safety glasses, is mandatory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $16.25/hr.
