Traveling Generator Technician (With Per Diem)

**Job Overview: We’re looking for experienced Mechanics** to join our team in **Corpus Christi** , specializing in generator maintenance and repair. This role involves working with both A/C and D/C power systems, interfacing with control software via laptop, and participating in ongoing training to deepen your expertise in generator systems.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Minimum **3 years of commercial generator experience** or **7+ years of residential generator experience** .

+ Proficiency in using laptops for control system interfacing.

+ Valid **Driver’s License** .

+ Strong mechanical and electrical experience in generator systems

+ Travel up to **90%** within the South Texas region, including Harlingen, Corpus Christi, Victoria, and San Antonio.

+ Work with **A/C power systems** such as 120/240v single-phase and 277/480v three-phase.

+ Handle **D/C control systems** ranging from 12v to 24v.

+ Use a laptop to interface with generator control software.

+ Perform **preventative and corrective maintenance** on generators.

+ Troubleshoot and repair using **basic hand tools and electrical meters** .

+ Participate in **specialized training programs** to enhance generator knowledge.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $79040.00/yr.
