    Job Description

    Join our team as an Assistant Leak Technician, where you will play a crucial role in evaluating and repairing leaks in various facilities, including manufacturing, water treatment, and refineries. This role involves measuring leaks, sending drawings to engineering, and installing casings. You will use your mechanical skills and tools to perform repairs while maintaining live systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Evaluate leaks and install casings in manufacturing facilities, water treatment facilities, and refineries.

    + Write up measurements and dimensions for leaks.

    + Read and interpret blueprints.

    + Utilize hand tools and power tools for installations.

    + Perform live repairs on systems that will not be shut down during the repair process.

    + Report to both the maintenance shop in New Lenox and travel in the field across Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Missouri, Michigan, Minnesota, and South Dakota.

    + Stay overnight occasionally with company-provided accommodations.

    + Travel with lead technicians and assist in field operations.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanically inclined with experience using hand tools and power tools.

    + Ability to read a tape measure, micrometer, and calipers.

    + Experience in heavy equipment repair and leak repair.

    + Clean driving record.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $52000.00/yr.

    This is a fully onsite position in New Lenox,IL.
