    Job Title: Warehouse Worker, $20-25

    Job Description

    As a Warehouse Worker, you will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery to efficiently load and unload large power boxes and circuit breakers. You will be responsible for inspecting these items for any damage or defects, securing them during transport, and organizing them within the warehouse. Additionally, you will maintain detailed records of inventory movements and assist with inventory management.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload power boxes and circuit breakers.

    + Inspect power boxes and circuit breakers for any damage or defects.

    + Secure power boxes and circuit breakers during transport to prevent shifting or damage.

    + Move and organize inventory within the warehouse.

    + Maintain detailed logs and records of inventory movements and counts.

    + Assist with inventory management and organization.

    + Comply with all safety regulations and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

    Essential Skills

    + 2-3 years of experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.

    + Ability to lift up to 100 lbs repeatedly.

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

    + Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

    + Valid driver's license.

    + Basic mathematic skills for inventory tracking.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Familiarity with reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics (preferred).

    + Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment (preferred).

    + Forklift certification (preferred).

    Work Environment

The company is relatively small, with about 50 employees, and offers a testing room where you can take the lead. The work hours are 8-5, Monday through Friday, with a focus on refurbishing obsolete circuit breakers.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
