    Job Title: 2nd Shift Welder Fabricator

    Job Description

    Join our team as a 2nd Shift Welder Fabricator, where you'll play a crucial role in welding and fabricating steel staircases, railings, and other structural components. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with their hands to create high-quality steel products.

    Responsibilities

    + Weld and fabricate steel staircases, railings, and structural components on 2nd Shift.

    + Grind and perform repair welds on finished handrails using a hand grinder and polisher.

    + Utilize welding equipment to create precise and durable welds.

    + Move and load products after shipment completion.

    + Handle materials such as steel, stainless steel, and occasionally aluminum.

    + Read and interpret construction blueprints to ensure accurate grinding and welding.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 2 years experience in grinding and polishing.

    + Proficiency in MIG welding and steel fabrication.

    + Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with TIG welding.

    + Familiarity with structural steel and fixtures.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where everyone is expected to stay on task to meet shipment deadlines. The team is tight-knit and supportive, with a focus on accountability and high-quality work. The 2nd shift operates from 4:00 pm to 3:00 am, Monday to Friday, with occasional shifts from Monday to Thursday, totaling 45-55 hours per week. Training will be conducted on the 1st shift from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
