Job Title: Fiber Optic Laser Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Fiber Optic Laser Operator to set up and operate automated fiber optic laser equipment, with a preference for experience using Mazak machines. The role involves programming machine movements and cycle speeds, performing laser alignment and nozzle checks, and conducting inspections to ensure high-quality production.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and operate automated fiber optic laser equipment (Mazak preferred).
+ Program machine movement and cycle speed.
+ Perform laser alignment and nozzle checks during setup.
+ Load raw materials and unload processed parts and skeletons.
+ Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections.
+ Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
+ Work with aluminum, steel, and stainless materials.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
+ Follow production schedules and meet quality standards.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of experience operating and setting up Fiber Optic Laser machines with automation (Mazak preferred).
+ Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints.
+ Skilled in basic inspection of sheet metal parts.
+ Able to lift up to 75 lbs as needed.
+ Proficient in using calipers, tape measures, and hand tools.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
