Description
HRIS Data Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled and intellectually curious HRIS Data Analyst to join our team. This is a highly visible role, serving as the single source of truth for all HR data across the organization. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is passionate about transforming data into meaningful insights that influence people and business strategies.
This role partners cross-functionally with Human Resources and other key business leaders to maintain data integrity, streamline systems, and surface actionable insights through analytics and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Own and maintain HR data integrity across systems with a strong understanding of HRIS platforms
+ Support enhancements and configuration updates within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to improve workflows, candidate tracking, and data capture
+ Maintain and update position seat mapping to ensure accurate headcount tracking, organizational alignment, and reporting clarity
+ Enter and manage position-level data within Paycom, ensuring accurate updates for job changes, compensation, department structure, and reporting relationships
+ Serve as the central point of contact and subject matter expert for all HR data and reporting needs
+ Develop and deliver reports and dashboards using advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.)
+ Translate complex data into clear, compelling stories for a variety of audiences
+ Conduct in-depth data analysis and identify trends related to workforce planning, retention, talent acquisition, and other key HR metrics
+ Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in all reporting and data management
+ Remain agile and flexible as business needs evolve in a high-growth environment
+ Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and requirements
+ Demonstrate intellectual curiosity by proactively exploring data, asking the right questions, and seeking continuous improvement in processes and reporting
Qualifications
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred
+ 5+ years of experience in an HR analyst or related role
+ 2+ years of experience working with or managing data from HRIS platforms (Paycom experience strongly preferred)
+ Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR system configurations
+ Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, charting, automation)
+ Familiarity with HR operations and the entire employee lifecycle
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences
+ Highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player who exhibits intellectual curiosity
The salary range for this role is$85,000 - $95,000/annually. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: geographic location, relevant education, applicable certifications, depth of experience, and special skillsets. The total compensation package for this position may also include the opportunity to participate in employee benefits including our medical/dental/vision/pet insurance, disability and life insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) retirement plans, subject to applicable plan terms, and/or eligibility for other compensation.
