    Facility Technician – Miami, FL

     

    Enhance guest experiences by ensuring top-tier facility operations across luxury hotel properties.

     

    We are seeking a skilled and reliable **Facility Technician** to support the maintenance and operational excellence of two premier hotel locations in Miami: Brickell and the World Center. This role is ideal for a technician with strong HVAC experience and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Oversee and verify maintenance work performed by third-party vendors.

    + Inspect and approve contractor work related to HVAC, plumbing, drywall, painting, and general repairs.

    + Identify and resolve technical issues affecting hotel guests (e.g., automated shades, televisions).

    + Travel between hotel sites using the Tri-Rail system as needed.

    Required Qualifications

    + Minimum **2 years of HVAC experience** , preferably in hotel or apartment building maintenance.

    + Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve guest-facing technical issues.

    + Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and email).

    + Experience in customer service or guest-facing roles.

    + Comfortable using tablets and digital tools in a modern hotel environment.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Prior maintenance experience in hospitality or residential settings.

    + Familiarity with boiler systems and other large-scale building infrastructure.

    + Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills.

    + Technically savvy and adaptable to new systems.

    Work Schedule

    + **Brickell Location** : 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM

    + **World Center Location** : 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM or 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM

    + **Days Off** : Wednesdays and Thursdays

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
