    Part-Time Legal/Administrative Assistant

    **Location:** Richmond, VA

    **Schedule:** Approximately 15 hours per week | Tuesdays & Wednesdays, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

    **Pay Rate:** $22 – $24 per hour (based on experience)

     

    About the Role

     

    We are seeking a **professional, detail-oriented Part-Time Legal/Administrative Assistant** to support a highly experienced attorney who maintains a small, selective caseload (3–5 cases at a time). This role will involve working closely with Rod, a former federal prosecutor with an accomplished career, and Karen, a part-time administrative team member.

     

    The ideal candidate will be **tech-savvy, organized, and professional in appearance and demeanor** , with strong attention to detail and the ability to conduct legal research and review case documents. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking flexible, part-time work in a professional legal environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Conduct case-related research and review legal documents.

    + Support day-to-day administrative tasks in coordination with Rod and Karen.

    + Ensure accuracy and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

    + Assist with document management and maintain organized case files.

    + Potential to expand into personal assistant duties depending on fit and interest.

    Qualifications

    + Prior experience in a legal, administrative, or research-focused role preferred.

    + Strong computer skills and ability to quickly adapt to new systems.

    + Knowledge of legal principles or prior experience as a **paralegal, executive assistant, or personal assistant** is highly desirable.

    + Professional, polished appearance and demeanor (clean-cut presentation expected).

    + Strong organizational and communication skills.

    + Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

    + Non-smoker required.

    Preferred Background

    + Retired or part-time paralegal seeking flexible work.

    + Experienced executive or personal assistant with strong organizational and research skills.

    + Candidates with backgrounds in medical or accounting fields may also be considered.

    **Pay Details:** $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
