Olsten is assisting in recruiting for 1st & 2nd Shift Material Handlers for a well-established company located in Mullins, SC. If you meet the following requirements pleases click on Apply Now.
Summary of duties and responsibilities:
Perform all tasks involved in the material handling of the company's products. This includes supplying the line, moving material, and packing. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

2. Reads traceability sheets to ensure that the correct product is supplied to the lines and performs work as assigned by the department supervisor.
3. Supplies lines with the materials to produce assemblies or finished product
4. Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages
5. Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes
6. Track production on schedule boards
7. Notify supervisor of any material issues
8. Place finished goods on the designated pallet
9. Maintain a clean and safe work area
10. Works with other Material Handlers to stock finished goods in proper location
11. Assist other Material Handlers organize and store raw and finished goods
12. Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Essential Qualifications:
1. Ability to safely and continually lift and lower, push/pull packages that range up to 70 pounds
2. Ability to visually read packing labels and product information
3. Ability to pull, stretch and bend for duration of shift
4. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiply, divide, etc.)
5. Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy with or without reasonable accommodation
All Material Handlers are expected to be available to work in all areas of productions.
**Education, prior work experience and specialized skills and knowledge** : The position will be required to read and perform basic math
**Physical environment/working conditions:** The position could involve sitting, standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.
**Equipment and Machinery used:** Pallet jack, box opener, hand truck, cardboard boxes, tape dispensers, and other materials necessary to the production and packaging of the company's products.
**Other (e.g., customer contact or access to confidential information):** Must be able to work as part of a team.

**Pay Details:** $13.33 per hour
