Job Title: Framer/Carpenter

Job Description

Join our team as a Framer/Carpenter where you will contribute to the construction of modular building units. This role requires a strong understanding of carpentry, including both framing and finish work, as well as the ability to read building schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

+ Perform framing on modular building units using hand and power tools.

+ Read and interpret tape measures, building schematics, and blueprints.

+ Stand for entire shifts and climb ladders as needed.

+ Work collaboratively within a team to complete construction tasks efficiently.

Essential Skills

+ Prior experience in framing and finish carpentry.

+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

+ Ability to read tape measures accurately.

+ Understanding of building schematics and blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Mechanical aptitude.

+ Experience in commercial construction and rough carpentry.

Work Environment

Work in a modular building manufacturing facility. The work environment is a covered building with no air conditioning or heating, requiring adaptability to varying temperatures.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aumsville, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
