Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of building and plant equipment. This role involves working closely with management to prioritize tasks and assist the production team with setups, changeovers, and ongoing support.
Responsibilities
+ Assist the production team with setups and changeovers, providing operational support as needed.
+ Execute a preventative maintenance schedule for machines and facilities using the Fiix CMMS.
+ Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance to minimize production interference and maximize uptime.
+ Utilize preventative maintenance techniques to detect and diagnose future malfunctions.
+ Install new or repaired parts according to specifications and blueprints.
+ Maintain detailed records of issues and maintenance completed on machines using the CMMS.
+ Respond promptly to production line calls and resolve issues, keeping managers/supervisors informed.
+ Perform skilled assembly, repairs, and maintenance using hand and power tools, hydraulic presses and shears, and welding equipment.
+ Adhere to food safety and quality production standards following GMP, CFR, and regulations of agencies such as OSHA, FDA, and EPA.
+ Comply with all safety and quality regulations, reporting issues to supervisors immediately.
+ Report food safety problems to supervisors or the SQF Practitioner upon observation.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.50/hr.
