Job Summary and Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Anatomic Pathology Histotech Lead, is responsible for preparation of histologic and cytologic materials, routine and special stains; accessioning of specimens, cataloging, storage and proper disposal of tissues, blocks and slides; record keeping such as temperature charts and workload statistics; performance of instrument maintenance.

Job Requirements

+ Must have 1 year hospital laboratory experience within the last five years.

+ High School or GED

+ General typing/computer skills

+ 1 year anatomic pathology experience preferred

$26.39 - $31.56 /hour
