    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with over 3 years of experience in software development, focusing on Power BI. This is a long-term contract opportunity within the aerospace and defense sectors, with the potential to transition into a full-time role. The position offers the chance to play a crucial role in building data analytics for operational efficiency.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and maintain software solutions with a focus on Power BI.

    + Collaborate in manufacturing environments, particularly in aerospace, defense, or engine production sectors.

    + Work with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle, MES platforms, and industrial data sources.

    + Perform data modeling, ETL processes, and API integrations.

    + Solve complex problems independently or as part of a team.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in SQL, DAX, and Power Query.

    + Experience in manufacturing settings, preferably in aerospace, defense, or engine production.

    + Strong understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.

    + Expertise in MS Office Applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Qliksense, Python, and Tableau.

    + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to manage big data for business forecasting and planning.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Industry 4.0 principles.

    + Familiarity with PLM systems, CAD data, or engineering BOMs.

    + Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.

    Work Environment

    This position is based on-site with a 4/10 work schedule, offering a dynamic and collaborative environment. Employees are at the forefront of developing data analytics for operational efficiency within the aerospace and defense sectors.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
