Job Title: Electronics EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a talented and innovative Electronics Engineer to join a dynamic team in Ann Arbor, MI. This in-person position requires a strong background in electrical systems and involves designing, developing, and testing electronic components and systems. The role demands a blend of creativity and technical expertise, especially in areas such as PCB design, debugging, and programming.

Responsibilities

+ Design and develop electronic circuits and systems using tools such as Altium Designer.

+ Create and test prototypes of electronic devices, ensuring functionality and reliability.

+ Conduct debugging processes to identify and resolve issues in electronic designs.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronic systems into larger projects.

+ Perform measurements using tools such as an oscilloscope to ensure compliance with specifications.

+ Document design processes, test results, and project specifications for future reference.

+ Perform thermal testing and iterate new designs to meet design goals.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

+ Proficiency in firmware development and embedded programming languages such as C.

+ Experience with PCB design and layout software is required.

+ Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.

+ Familiarity with debugging techniques for both hardware and software issues.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

+ Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in embedded programming.

+ Knowledge of Altium Designer for PCB design.

The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, requiring in-person attendance in Ann Arbor, MI. The position involves working with advanced tools such as Altium Designer and oscilloscopes. The role demands a professional dress code suitable for an engineering environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $83000.00/yr.
