    Job Description:

    We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of innovative surgical devices. This role involves hands-on prototyping, mechanical testing, CAD modeling, technical drawing creation, fixture design and fabrication, and evaluation of materials, suppliers, and manufacturing processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + CAD Design: Refine product designs and generate detailed drawings for manufacturing

    + Prototype Building & Testing: Build and evaluate prototypes to validate design concepts and performance

    + Fixture Design & Fabrication: Design and fabricate custom fixtures to support testing and development activities

    + Material & Supplier Evaluation: Assess and select appropriate materials and suppliers for product components

    + Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to drive innovation and ensure design feasibility

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

    + Internship or academic project experience in medical device or product development

    + Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks)

    + Familiarity with DFM/DFA principles

    + Experience with testing protocols and fixture design

    + Strong hands-on prototyping and fabrication skills

    + Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

    Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

    + Exposure to regulatory requirements for medical devices

    + Understanding of materials and manufacturing scalability

    + Experience working in a startup or fast-paced development environment

    Work Environment:

    + Hands-on engineering lab and office setting

    + Fast-paced, mission-driven culture

    + Cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams

    + Based in Louisville, CO

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
