    Job Title: DevSecOps EngineerJob Description

     

    As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the secure development of software as a hands-on member of the Software Assurance Team (SwA). Your responsibilities will include reviewing results from various security tools such as SonarQube, SonaType, and Fortify. You will also collaborate closely with the development team to address vulnerabilities found in the source code, justify false positives, and create containerized versions of applications.

    Responsibilities

    + Review and analyze results from security tools like SonarQube, SonaType, and Fortify.

    + Collaborate with the development team to remediate vulnerabilities in source code.

    + Justify false positives identified by security tools.

    + Create containerized versions of applications.

    + Work with containerized services using Kubernetes.

    + Deploy containerized applications using AWS EKS and Helm Charts.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in GitLab, C#, and CI/CD processes.

    + Experience with C# and .NET.

    + Familiarity with Kubernetes for containerized services.

    + Experience with containerized deployments using AWS EKS.

    + Active Secret Clearance.

    + Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cybersecurity practices.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Helm Charts.

    + Familiarity with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).

    Work Environment

    This position is fully onsite in Southeast COS, where you will collaborate with both the software development and cybersecurity teams. You will be part of a growing company engaged in cutting-edge work with government customers, supporting Army and USSF missions. The Space Systems group is headquartered in COS, providing an innovative and dynamic work environment.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
