Job Title: Infotainment Software EngineerJob Description
As an Infotainment Software Engineer, you will develop embedded infotainment software, working collaboratively with a team on both production and advanced development projects. You will utilize your skills in C++, QT, and Python, running on embedded Linux, to create innovative solutions. You will also engage with our DevOps infrastructure to ensure code quality and compliance with established software development processes.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and maintain embedded infotainment software using C++, QT, and Python on embedded Linux.
+ Adhere to DevOps infrastructure, following branching, quality, and software development processes, and utilize the CI/CD pipeline to ensure code quality.
+ Create testing infrastructure to automate tests against developed code.
+ Develop software to instrument and exercise the application code.
+ Review and critique code developed by team members, providing constructive feedback and sharing knowledge.
+ Communicate project deadlines and collaborate on technical discussions with suppliers and partner companies.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
+ 3+ years of experience in automotive infotainment testing, specifically with clusters and HUDs.
+ Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic and testing tools.
+ Strong understanding of embedded systems and vehicle communication protocols.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Strong communication and documentation skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with test automation and scripting, such as Python, is a plus.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
